What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Electrician II position at Winnebago Industries Inc?
Primary Objective of Position: Lays out vehicle electrical systems, defines wire routes, installs and tests various electrical components per order specifications. Troubleshoots electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Layout and install electrical systems and equipment in vehicles.
- Define and wire AC and DC load centers.
- Install, wire and test lighting, HVAC, transfer switches, converters, inverters, TV, satellite, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Integrate generators into the electrical system.
- Run and test communication cables.
- Partner effectively with other technicians to complete the vehicle build efficiently and safely.
- Serve as an electrical subject matter expert for sales or end-customers.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned based on business need.

Other Requirements
- High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of relevant electrical experience preferred.
- Trade School degree, certificate, or courses in relevant manufacturing or electrical field preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and experience with installation and troubleshooting of 12V, 110V-240V, 3 phase, and CAT 5/6 circuits.
- HVAC experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to use or be trained in on Quality Control Test Methods (QCTM). Internal certification will be offered.
