Position Overview
We are seeking a Site & Crew Supervisor to oversee day-to-day drilling operations across active job sites. This role is responsible for crew leadership, site coordination, safety enforcement, and operational execution, working closely with senior drillers and management to ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally. This is a field leadership role, not an office position.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite & Crew Leadership
- Serve as primary site lead for daily operations and workflow
- Supervise drilling crews, helpers, and subcontractors
- Assign tasks, manage productivity, and maintain schedules
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce safety protocols
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
Operational Coordination
- Coordinate mobilization, demobilization, and materials staging
- Verify permits, utility markings, and site readiness
- Anticipate site constraints and adjust plans proactively
- Communicate progress, issues, and needs to operations leadership
Compliance & Stakeholder Interface
- Ensure compliance with RI, CT, and MA safety and environmental requirements
- Coordinate inspections and respond to inspector feedback
- Act as on-site point of contact for property owners, engineers, and inspectors
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5 years of field supervision or construction leadership experience
- Experience in drilling, utilities, excavation, or heavy construction preferred
- Strong safety and crew management skills
- Ability to read site plans and utility layouts
- Valid driver's license; CDL preferred
