Winn Educational Management Services, Inc. runs the daily operations of the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT), a national, non-profit agency recognized to provide educational accreditation services to academic programs in nuclear medicine technology across the United States. The JRCNMT office is located in Edmond, Oklahoma and is staffed with a full-time executive director and a full-time accreditation assistant.

Job Description

The accreditation assistant works under the supervision of the Executive Director to provide administrative support for office operations and accreditation activities of the JRCNMT. The position is not remote.

Duties

  • Preparing accurate and complete reports, letters, meeting minutes and invoices.
  • Creating forms, worksheets and spreadsheets.
  • Assisting with logistics and the preparation of materials for meetings, workshops and on-site academic program evaluations.
  • Entering program information from digital reports, into an Access database. This also requires computational skills.
  • Updating and uploading content to the JRCNMT website (WordPress).
  • Demonstrating excellent customer service while accurately responding to phone and email inquiries based on JRCNMT policies, procedures and standards.
  • Maintaining accreditation and related files according to JRCNMT policy.
  • Conducting oneself in a responsible and professional manner.

Qualifications

1. Associate’s degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred, from an accredited college or university.

2. Minimum of three years of office administration experience in higher education, preferably in an area such as student services, admissions, accreditation/institutional compliance.

3. Superior organizational and analytical skills.

4. Demonstrated ability to handle issues of a sensitive and confidential nature.

5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with attention to detail.

6. Skillful in prioritizing and completing multiple tasks simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.

7. Computer skills including use of Word, Access, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, email and computer file management using Windows. Experience with Survey Monkey, Zoom, an accreditation management and/or learning management systems is a plus.

Work Schedule

The accreditation assistant works on-site as a full-time, hourly employee Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The position may require attendance and support during the meetings of the JRCNMT Board of Directors, which occur twice per year, typically in April and October on a Friday and Saturday. Travel is required and reimbursed by the JRCNMT. Time is paid for business hours at the meetings.

Compensation

This is a non-exempt, full-time position at the offices of the JRCNMT in Edmond, Oklahoma. The employer is Winn Educational Management Services. Starting compensation ranges from $20 to $24 per hour based on experience. Benefits include a Simple IRA retirement plan with employer matching; health insurance with employee contribution; and paid time off. Benefits begin after a probationary period.
