- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and retail areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and managing product displays.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Engage in sales activities by promoting products and upselling when appropriate.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to food handling and safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is a plus.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management is beneficial.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Ability to handle food safely, following all health regulations and guidelines.
