Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, to process customer transactions efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining environment for guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or a quick-service/fast-food restaurant is preferred.
- Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is beneficial.
