Job Summary:
Support the planning and delivery of top organizational initiatives in a way that creatively aligns member and employee feedback with industry trends and business unit strategies so that executed efforts deliver outcomes that support strategic goals and align the organization. This position will lead and set direction for the Project Management Office (PMO) and will be ultimately responsible for the execution of projects on time, on budget and within agreed upon scope while adjusting to organizational strategic priorities.
Essential Functions:
- Owns and directs the work of the PMO, including program and project managers, in delivering strong value to the business and members in accordance with managing scope, budget, and time across all projects.
- Manages a portfolio of programs and projects focused on growth and run-the-business, including managing dependencies, risks, and issues. Effectively resolves escalated risks, issues, and key decisions.
- Delivers on the implementation of the enterprise initiatives roadmap to achieve the enterprise’s strategic objectives.
- Works with Business leaders and project teams to identify, monitor and report on appropriate metrics and success measures.
- Supports the regular review and prioritization of the overall enterprise portfolio’s status, scope, schedule and performance with senior leadership.
- Oversees the training and enforcement of best practice project management methodologies, tools, processes, and proactive stakeholder communications that fit Wings culture.
- Builds and maintains quality relationships with management and senior leaders
- Builds and maintains strong collaborative relationship with peer managers across the organization
- Develop, coach and mentor a team of value-driven project leaders
- Develops understanding of both long- and short-term objectives of the business units that drive member value
- Effectively communicate performance standards and strategies necessary to achieve goals and objectives
Leadership Responsibilities: Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and provide training to employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, preferred.
- 5 years of people leadership experience within project management
- 7 years in strategic and/or portfolio management, business development, or strategic planning, required
- PMP certification preferred
- Experience developing, monitoring, reporting on KPIs and success metrics
- Strategic Communications and change management experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in effectively leading, coaching and upskilling team members, as appropriate
- Demonstrated ability to lead, direct and motivate others to action through influence
- Strong customer-centric focus and relationship skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, while also possessing outstanding collaboration, delegation and team building skills
- Excellent analytic, organization, presentation, and facilitation skills; ability to lead multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Strong personal projection including professional business appearance, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills.

Pay Range: $145k-$165k plus 15% annual target bonus. The estimated hiring range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
