Wings is a residential center dedicated to supporting adolescents facing substance use and mental health challenges. We provide a welcoming, adaptable environment that helps young people heal and discover their path to recovery.
Position Details
- Schedule: One evening per week, 3–7 p.m.
- Additional hours: Opportunities available as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Prepare nutritious meals for clients and staff by following a set menu.
- Follow all federal and state food safety and health regulations.
- Model positive, professional behavior and maintain healthy boundaries with youth.
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., dishwasher, mixer).
- Clean and sanitize all work areas, equipment, and surfaces.
- Perform daily kitchen maintenance, including sweeping and mopping floors.
- Restock and rotate food properly, monitoring expiration dates.
- Support overall Food Service Department operations.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Prior food service experience preferred, but we are happy to train.
- Reliable transportation and consistent on-time attendance.
- Must pass a background check.
- Minimum age 19 with a high school diploma.
