Penmac Staffing is hiring for several food service and kitchen positions with a local hospitality client in the Brainerd area. Whether you have restaurant experience or are looking to grow your skills in the food service industry, we have a variety of opportunities available. Flexible schedules are available, with openings on morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.
Available Positions & Pay
Food RunnerPay: $14-$15 per hour
Schedule: Thursday-Saturday afternoons and eveningsPrep CookPay: $16-$18 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Morning availability requiredLine CookPay: $16-$20 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Fridays 2:00pm-10:00pm and Saturdays 12:00pm-10:00pmDishwasherPay: $13-$16 per hour
Schedule: Morning availability required
Requirements for Restaurant & Kitchen Staff

• Previous restaurant, kitchen, food preparation, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required for all positions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Must follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks as needed.
• Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screen if required.

Restaurant & Kitchen Staff Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Assist with food preparation, cooking, plating, and kitchen organization.
• Deliver food promptly and accurately to guests as a Food Runner.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen utensils while maintaining a clean work area.
• Support team members to ensure exceptional guest service and smooth daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
