Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces to meet established standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and polishing using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for staff and guests
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment
- Assist with special cleaning projects like deep cleans or industrial cleaning tasks as needed
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with various cleaning methods including floor care and industrial cleaning techniques
- Knowledge of janitorial supplies, equipment operation, and safety procedures in hospitality settings
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not required
