Facilities Maintenance

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Facilities Maintenance to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facilities. You are responsible for the proper maintenance and upkeep of guest rooms and guest public areas to create a safe and efficient environment for all staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for maintaining high standards of facility performance. Respond to maintenance requests generated by staff members and guests in a timely manner. Maintenance of company property may include and is not limited to, electrical work, carpentry, painting, plumbing and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to Company Core Values and Mission Statement.
• Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, public areas, meeting rooms, restaurant and lounge.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building and including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
• Report emergency and unusual situations immediately.
• Coordinate with staff members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests needs promptly and professionally.
• Assist with the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment and hotel property.
• Responsible for working in a safe and conscientious manner. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Report the need for any major repairs to Director of Engineering.
• Determine the exact cause and location of any fire alarms and communicate finding with management and front desk.
• Demonstrate an attitude of cooperation and helpfulness at all times.

Skills

• Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot using schematics and ohmmeters.
• Mechanical knowledge including familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing, welding, and general building maintenance.
• Skilled in painting techniques for aesthetic improvements.
• Proficiency in work order management and record keeping.
• Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
