Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a strong background in various maintenance disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, and facilities maintenance. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for both staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues .
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to address various maintenance challenges effectively.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Oversee facility projects to ensure quality finishes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities .
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and clients regarding maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure minimal downtime during repairs.

Skills

• Proficient in electrical experience, including troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of equipment.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) is a plus.
• Experience in welding techniques for metal fabrication and repair tasks.
• Ability to read schematics for effective troubleshooting of systems.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices to ensure operational efficiency.
• Previous supervisory experience is desirable for leading maintenance teams.
• Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with staff and clients.
