Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently
- Manage janitorial tasks like waste disposal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in excellent condition.
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including sweeping walkways or maintaining outdoor areas to ensure overall property cleanliness.
- Practice manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injury.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guests requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleanliness of their spaces.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments, with familiarity in janitorial or custodial roles.
- Hands-on experience with floor care procedures such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper cleaning techniques across various surfaces.
- Experience managing laundry operations efficiently within a housekeeping setting.
- Previous hotel housekeeping or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations and service excellence.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus, demonstrating comfort working outside in different weather conditions.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
