Job Summary
Candlewood Suites is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable guest suites and public areas to ensure an excellent guest experience in our extended-stay environment.
Duties
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors
- Restock room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and coffee items
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner
- Respect guest privacy and adhere to confidentiality policies
Skills
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow brand standards and procedures
- Physical ability to lift, bend, push carts, and stand for long periods
Work Environment
- Extended-stay hotel environment with less frequent full-service cleaning
- Fast-paced with assigned room quotas
- Requires weekends and holiday availability as needed
