Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing various flooring types to keep them pristine and safe
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to uphold sanitation standards and prevent cross-contamination
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and professionally
- Manage janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring all areas are well-maintained
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling or inventory checks for cleaning supplies
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment
- Ability to perform floor care tasks effectively across various flooring surfaces
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience with laundry operations and handling delicate fabrics with care
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or hospitality industry experience is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as carpet cleaners, vacuums, buffers, and steamers efficiently
