Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, including hot dishes, pastries, fruits, and beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations, following food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee makers, and food warmers safely and efficiently.
- Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks while adhering to strict food safety management practices.
- Greet guests warmly in person, provide excellent customer service, and answer any questions about menu items or dietary needs.
- Restock supplies regularly to ensure an abundant and appealing breakfast display.
- Follow manual handling protocols when lifting or moving heavy trays or equipment during setup or cleanup.
- Providing attentive service in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dining, food service, or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety sanitizing procedures is essential.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, warmers, or blenders is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests in person.
- Ability to lift heavy trays or boxes as part of daily manual handling tasks.
- Culinary experience or catering background is a plus; banquet experience is advantageous.
