Hampton by Hilton Youngstown Boardman is seeking a full-time Breakfast Attendant who takes pride in food quality, cleanliness, and friendly service in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
We are especially interested in candidates with prior hotel, restaurant, or food service experience, preferably within Hilton-branded hotels. However, we are willing to train the right candidate with strong customer service experience.
Position Summary
The Breakfast Attendant is often the first team member a guest sees each morning. This is an early morning shift running from 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This position is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the complimentary breakfast service, keeping the dining area clean and fully stocked, and ensuring every item meets Hampton by Hilton brand standards and food safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, genuine hospitality throughout the breakfast period
- Set up the breakfast area, hot and cold items, beverages, and condiments prior to service
- Monitor and replenish food and supplies continuously to keep the buffet full and appealing
- Follow all food safety, temperature logging, and sanitation requirements
- Clear, clean, and sanitize tables, counters, and dining areas throughout service
- Break down the breakfast area, properly store product, and clean equipment at the close of service
- Wash dishes, utensils, and serving equipment as needed
- Track inventory, rotate stock, and notify management of ordering needs
- Assist guests with questions and communicate concerns to management promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance in all public areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous hotel, restaurant, or food service experience preferred
- Hilton brand experience is a plus
- Food handler certification a plus, or willingness to obtain one
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented mindset
- Must be available for an early morning start at 5:00 AM, including weekends and holidays
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
