WHAT WE'LL NEED

We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Corporate Accounting, to become an important part of our team as you manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting team. You will have the ability to problem solve and think analytically while ensuring work is completed in a timely and accurate manner. 

In this role, you get to show off your written and verbal communication skills as you build collaborative relationships throughout the organization and help drive the success of our Accounting team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all activities/processes as it relates to the production of and monthly review of the Corporate Store P&L. 

  • Responsible for partnering with Finance to ensure we have a deep understanding of actuals vs. forecast/plan and diving in to perform any related analysis necessary.

  • Reconciles accounting issues through research to ensure proper balancing of accounts. 

  • Meets all internal and external deadlines for closing the books and records and filing SEC financial statements.

  • Understands technical accounting topics and applies all appropriate policies to the company records and disclosures.

  • Continuous evaluation of processes and controls in place to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely reporting. 

  • Maintains financial controls ensuring policies and procedures are in place to ensure compliance with SOX 404.

  • Manages work related to external audits and the quarterly review of the company financial records.

  • Leads, guides and motivates employees to exceed customer expectations and provide excellent service.

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Technical accounting knowledge

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to multi-task and good problem-solving capabilities

  • Collaboration skills

  • Experience with management or leading a team 

  • CPA required
