Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and daily operations of the restaurant. This role oversees all aspects of the business, including team development, guest satisfaction, food quality, inventory management, labor control, and financial performance.

The General Manager ensures compliance with company standards and creates an environment that drives operational consistency, profitability, and an exceptional guest experience.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRestaurant Operations

Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution.

Maintain Wingstop brand standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety.

Conduct daily opening and closing procedures as needed.

Perform routine walkthroughs and product quality checks.

Ensure food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and time/temperature logs are consistently followed.

Maintain proper staffing and scheduling to support business needs.

Financial Performance

Manage labor, food cost, inventory, and controllable expenses.

Analyze sales trends and performance reports to identify opportunities for growth.

Reduce waste and improve operational efficiencies to maximize profitability.

Ensure accurate inventory counts, ordering, and receiving processes.

Team Leadership

Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop team members and managers.

Build a high-performing team culture focused on accountability, development, and guest satisfaction.

Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.

Create development plans to strengthen leadership pipelines.

Guest Experience

Ensure every guest receives exceptional service and high-quality food.

Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.

Foster a guest-first culture throughout the restaurant.

Compliance & Brand Standards

Ensure full compliance with company policies, local health regulations, and food safety standards.

Enforce safety, uniform, and operational policies.

Uphold and promote the Wingstop culture and brand standards at all times.

Qualifications

2 years of General Manager experience in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), Fast Casual, or Restaurant Operations.

Strong experience managing P&L, labor, food cost, and operational performance.

Proven success in hiring, training, and leading high-performing teams.

Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-management skills.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Guest-service driven with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.

ServSafe Certification required within 90 days of employment.
