Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments accurately at the register
• Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, bar area, and dining spaces in compliance with health regulations
• Assist with setup and breakdown for events such as banquets or catering functions
• Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities while providing detailed product knowledge
• Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Stay knowledgeable about menu offerings, including beverages like brewing options or fine dining selections

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and payment processing
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or restaurants
• Experience in food service settings, including fine dining or banquet environments, is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling, and sanitation practices
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing purposes
• Previous experience in the food industry with retail math skills is a plus
• Familiarity with serving techniques in both casual and upscale settings such as catering or hospitality venues
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members seamlessly
