The Facilities & Ranch Operations Manager reports directly to the General Manager and works in close alignment with executive leadership to ensure all facilities, ranch operations, and property assets are maintained at the highest operational, safety, and service standards. This role serves as a key operational partner to the General Manager, translating strategic objectives into day-to-day execution across facilities, grounds, ranch operations, vendors, and capital projects.Requirements Position responsibilities:• Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and appearance of all Ranch facilities, grounds, and infrastructure to ensure safety, functionality, and premium presentation.• Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), preventative maintenance programs, and emergency response plans across all operational areas.• Ensure daily opening and closing procedures are executed consistently and in compliance with established standards.• Conduct regular property inspections to proactively identify maintenance needs, safety risks, and operational improvements.• Lead and manage Ranch Hands and operational staff, providing direction, coaching, performance feedback, and accountability.• Coordinate closely with the Sporting Operations Manager to ensure shooting ranges, sporting areas, and surrounding property are maintained to safety and cleanliness standards.• Oversee equipment, vehicles, tools, and ranch assets, ensuring proper use, maintenance, and inventory control.• Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring work quality, safety compliance, and timely completion.• Partner with the Assistant General Manager on construction projects, renovations, capital improvements, and special operational initiatives.• Serve as the on-site point of accountability for vendor performance—no surprises, no rework.• Assist with departmental budgeting, forecasting, and cost control; monitor expenses against approved budgets.• Manage ordering, inventory, and procurement of supplies essential to facilities and ranch operations.• Provide operational data and documentation to support property, liability, and insurance requirements as needed.• Respond professionally to member inquiries, concerns, and feedback related to facilities and grounds, coordinating resolutions with leadership and cross-functional teams.• Provide operational and logistical support for special events, member programs, and peak-season activities.Preferred Qualifications • Strong leadership presence with the ability to lead teams through clear direction, accountability, and collaboration.• Exceptional attention to detail with a process-driven mindset.• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.• Strong problem-solving skills and operational judgment.• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with members, staff, vendors, and leadership.• Consistent follow-through—commitments made are commitments delivered.Work Schedule• Wednesday – Sunday (flexibility required for events & peak seasons).Benefits:,• Paid Time Off• Nine Paid Holidays• Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance• Matching 401(k) program• Retail Employee DiscountCompany DescriptionWe honor the natural beauty of country life in Sonoma County by being stewards of our land.
