Job Overview
We are seeking entry level and skilled CNC Operators to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, machining processes, and the ability to work with various materials. The CNC Operator will ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines, including Fanuc-controlled equipment, to manufacture parts according to specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Set up and adjust machine tools as necessary, including the use of hand tools for modifications.
- Package finished products for shipment, ensuring proper handling and labeling.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Engage in materials handling tasks as required, including loading and unloading materials using forklifts.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing facility.
- Proficient in operating CNC machinery and understanding of machining processes.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Knowledge of Fanuc programming is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience with hand tools for setup and maintenance tasks.
- Capable of performing materials handling duties safely and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
