Position Summary
The Line Cook is responsible for executing menu items during service with speed, consistency, and attention to presentation. This role is hands-on, guest-impacting, and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining high food quality and cleanliness standards.
Compensation: $26.00-$27.00 hourly
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble charcuterie boards, flatbreads, paninis, fondue, and rotating menu items during service
- Maintain station organization, cleanliness, and food safety at all times
- Work efficiently during busy tasting room rushes to meet guest demand
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation standards
- Maintain kitchen equipment and work areas according to sanitation guidelines
- Communicate service needs and challenges with the management team
- Support overall kitchen flow and guest experience
- Any other duties as assigned by your Manager
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with hot and cold food preparation
- Ability to perform under pressure during peak service periods
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation standards
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
