This position includes teaching several high school classes and the potential to supportintervention needs.
Teaching responsibilities will vary and could include Geometry, Algebra II, FinancialLiteracy, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, and/or Financial Literacy. Intervention support, whereneeded, will focus on providing individual and small group instruction based on student need and workin collaboration with others in the department. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding ofmathematical concepts and instructional practices and demonstrated experience working withneurodiverse learners in a classroom setting..We seek an enthusiastic, open-minded teacher with agrowth mindset to join our team of dedicated teachers. The ideal candidate will be a strong,collaborative team member who is committed to continuing working on their teaching practice throughprofessional development both individually and as a team.
They should be able to listen to bothstudents and colleagues with the goal of understanding others ideas, with an emphasis on reflectiveteaching.Qualifications: Bachelor degree and has a current, or is eligible for, a Vermont Teaching License with appropriateendorsement.
