Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Launder linens, towels, and other fabrics as needed, ensuring they are fresh and clean.
- Manage housekeeping tasks in both hotel and residential settings, adhering to established standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with meal preparation or cooking when necessary, contributing to the overall satisfaction of residents or guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to cleaning practices.
