What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Support Specialist (center-based) position at Windham Southeast Supervisory Union?
We are seeking an individual to support our Family Services team as a center-based Family Support Specialist. Reporting to the Family Services Manager, this person will provide case management and intervention services to program families, conducting a minimum of 3-4 visits with each family annually. They will also plan, coordinate, and implement group activities and parent committee meetings, providing transportation to families if necessary.Minimum Qualifications: AA/AS degree in Human Services or related field with two (2) years experience working with at risk families, OR If an unrelated degree, completion of a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field within eighteen (18) months of hire with two years experience, OR three years case management or related experience and completion of a credential or certification in social work, human services, counseling or related field within eighteen (18) months of hire.
