Part Time Chorus Teacher - Windham Middle School

RSU 14 is seeking a qualified Chorus Teacher to teach Chorus one block a day, five days a week, at Windham Middle School. The selected candidate must have the ability to create and maintain positive relations with students, school personnel, parents, and citizens, and to collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to maintain the high quality of services. Below is a listing of the general duties of this position. This listing is not a detailed description of all position duties: Plan for and teach a Chorus class within a middle school progression. Employ a variety of instructional strategies to ensure that students meet content standards and acquire essential skills and understanding of Chorus. Employ an assessment plan which informs instruction and assesses student skills in Chorus. Present the accomplishments of students through public and school-centered concerts shared with other performing sections.
