Vocal Music Teacher (Chorus)

Windham High School is searching for a dynamic individual to join the Music Department as a full-time Vocal Music Teacher. Applicants must have the ability to employ a variety of instructional strategies to ensure that students meet content standards and acquire essential skills and understanding of music, while working collaboratively with district Music teachers on curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The position requires the ability to select developmentally appropriate music and to lead the presentation of the student's accomplishments through public and school centered concerts. Teaching responsibilities will include High School Chorus and additional courses in music, while also leading the Windham Chamber Singers. The ideal candidate will have a background and experience in vocal music instruction, and have strong piano proficiency. Applicants should be willing to​ prioritize student engagement and achievement.
