Windham Academy is seeking a compassionate, organized, and student-centered School Nurse to join our dedicated team. The School Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of students while helping to maintain a safe and healthy school environment. Responsibilities Include:

Provide direct nursing care to students and staff as needed

Assess and manage student illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies

Administer medications and maintain accurate health records in accordance with state regulations and school policies

Develop and monitor individual healthcare plans, emergency action plans, and accommodations for students with medical needs

Communicate effectively with families, healthcare providers, and school staff regarding student health concerns

Monitor immunization compliance and student medical documentation

Promote health education and wellness initiatives throughout the school community

Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Support a positive, caring, and student-focused school culture
Qualifications:

Current New Hampshire LPN or RN

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Previous pediatric, school nursing, or community health experience preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

CPR and First Aid certification required
