Job Summary

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Meat Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for all things meat-related, helping customers select, prepare, and package high-quality meat products. Your expertise will ensure that our store maintains top standards in food safety, quality, and customer service. Responsibilities

• Assist customers with selecting meat products, offering advice on cuts and preparation methods
• Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
• Package meat products accurately inspection for quality control.
• Manage perishable goods by monitoring expiration dates and ensuring proper storage practices.
• Support food handling and preparation tasks in accordance with food safety management standards.
• Maintain knowledge of different meat type, to provide comprehensive customer assistance.

Skills

• Experience in food production, food preparation, or retail store environments preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitizing practices, and quality control standards.
• Basic math skills for weighing, pricing, and inventory management.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
• Ability to handle perishable goods responsibly while maintaining high standards of food safety.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
