The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, tracking product movements, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory records. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory. Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
· Data Entry and Accuracy: Accurately enter inventory data into the system, update records, and generate reports as needed. Ensure data integrity and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
· Stock Movement Tracking: Perform the stocking and distribution processes. Track product movements and maintain records of stock transfers, adjustments, and disposals.
· Reporting: Prepare and present regular inventory reports, including stock levels, turnover rates, and forecasted needs. Provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.
· Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards related to inventory management.
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Experience: Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role. Familiarity with inventory management software and systems is a plus.
· Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
· Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with team members as well as other departmental staff.
· Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Experience with inventory management software (e.g., inFlow, Epicor, etc.) is advantageous.
· Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move inventory items as needed. At times, will require standing for extended periods and working in a warehouse environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
