Inventory Processing Specialist

Discovery Outlet is a Locally Owned & Operated Discount Variety Store. We have been in business since 2018, and currently have 4 locations in Tennessee: Hixson, East Ridge, Cleveland, and Dayton.

We have new and different merchandise arriving weekly. We offer prices starting at 20% less than traditional big box retail stores, and pass savings onto our customers. Our plan is to grow through retail commerce by offering quality name brand products at a discounted price. We are looking for additional Team members.

Our customers are met with a friendly smile at the register, see a neatly stocked sale floor, and receive assistance with finding their items of choice. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Price & Process Ne w Merchandise.
• Unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Clean and organize.
• Set up displays.
• Load Merchandise into customers vehicles.
• Ability to work a rotating, flexible schedule.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Follows safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to stock merchandise.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Previous retail experience.
• Previous Inventory Management.
• Customer service experience preferred.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Frequent walking and standing.
• Bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Stock merchandise.
• Ability to push and or pull carts.
• Handle containers, two-wheel dollies, and pallet jacks.
• Lifting up to 40 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 70 pounds.
• Occasional climbing up to heights of six feet.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
