What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dialysis Custodian - Dialysis position at Wind River Family and Community Health Care?
Perform custodial duties with other Custodial Services Staff, including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing
Perform routine cleaning of floors, walls, windows, bathrooms, and waiting areas using hospital-grade disinfectants.
Clean, disinfect, and sanitize dialysis stations, chairs, machines, and ancillary equipment between patient sessions.
Empty and properly dispose of medical waste, sharps containers and linen in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines
Restock treatment rooms and supply carts with approved cleaning agents, PPE, and linen.
Maintain accurate logs of cleaning schedules, supply usage and equipment status.
Assist dialysis technicians with setting up and breaking down treatment stations as needed
Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the facilities
Other duties as assigned to maintain and enhance the department.
