What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substance Abuse Technician - White Buffalo Recovery Center position at Wind River Family and Community Health Care?
Works daily with residents to provide support, encouragement, and guidance.
Accurately report incidents or any behavior that includes significance on provided forms.
Assist and supervise clients with preparation of meals.
Assist clients with scheduling appointments, chores, community service and other activities.
Assist in the transportation of clients, adhering to all traffic and safety laws.
Communicate difficulties and/or concerns regarding client's behaviors to the supervisor as appropriate.
Ensure shift chores are completed, especially the deep cleaning of the facility.
Conduct alcohol and drug screening in conjunction with visits and employment.
Conduct compliance room checks and inspect all incoming resident's property.
Attend all mandatory training and staff meetings.
Adheres to NAADAC Code of Ethics, as well as the Wind River Family and Community Health Care and White Buffalo Recovery Center policies and procedures.
Completes paperwork requirements to maintain quality, up-to-date records, including progress notes and other relevant information, enter the necessary information into the electronic health record (EHR) system, ACCUCARE.
Other duties as assigned to maintain and enhance the operation of the Department.
