What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Specialist - White Buffalo Recovery Center position at Wind River Family and Community Health Care?
Collects client data to help with the admission process and ensures that all forms are properly signed and filed.� Processes paperwork for new clients efficiently and in accordance with policy and procedures including all intake paperwork and releases of information.�
Screen clients for alternative health resources and benefits; verifies 3rd party payers.
Screens clients for further assessment of substance use disorders utilizing a Simple Screening Instrument of Substance Abuse.
Answers and screens inquiry calls from prospective clients.
Uploads all information into the electronic health record (EHR) system, ACCUCARE.
Conducts initial drug/alcohol screening, as needed.
Maintain professional standards of conduct, and model recovery type behavior. Adhere to NAADAC Code of Ethics, as well as policies and procedures.�
Other duties as assigned to maintain and enhance the operation of the department.�
