What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Substance Abuse Provider- White Buffalo Recovery Center position at Wind River Family and Community Health Care?
Provides services based on scope of practice of Licensure including, but not limited to, addition prevention, crisis intervention, diagnosis, referral, direct treatment, and follow-up treatment which is rendered to individuals, families, groups and/or organizations who are adversely affected by addictions or related disorders.
Interviews clients and families to complete an assessment tool such as Addiction Severity Index (ASI) and will develop an individualized treatment plan
Applies therapies and interventions to address patients' cognitive and behavioral impairment by counseling clients, individually and in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life and making changes. .
Clinical supervision of Certified Addiction Practitioner (CAP) and Certified Addiction Practitioner Assistants (CAPA), acting as a mentor, if Licensed;
Provide coverage for Clinical Coordinator when needed.
Ensure all clinical documentation, services and issues will be reviewed with a designated qualified Clinical Supervisor a minimum of 1 hour per week for 20 hours of direct clinical care.
Adheres to NAADAC Code of Ethics, as well as the Wind River Family and Community Health Care and White Buffalo Recovery Center policies and procedures.
Stive to maintain client centered practices by integrating family and positive support systems by maintaining professional standards of conduct, and model recovery type behavior.
Other duties as assigned to maintain and enhance the operation of the Department.
