What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Dentist - Dental position at Wind River Family and Community Health Care?
Makes clinical and radiographic examinations of the oral hard and soft tissues and a diagnosis of pathological or irregular conditions of the oral cavity and maxillofacial area.
Performs endodontic, prosthodontic, periodontic, operative, preventative, and restorative dentistry within the scope of practice and ability.
Performs tooth extractions and refers as needed to the oral surgeon.
Performs root canal therapy within scope of practice.
Treats scheduled and emergent patients as needed.
Input patient demographics into Dentrix Database.
Informs patients about good dental health practices.
To maintain a sterile/disinfected environment in the delivery of oral care.�
Other duties as assigned to maintain and enhance the operation of the department.
