What are the responsibilities and job description for the First Impressions Clerk - White Buffalo Recovery Center position at Wind River Family and Community Health Care?
Must be familiar with the standard of procedure in general facility information, appointment times, and length of appointments. Verifies the client's identity with two (2) client identifiers (i.e., Name and date of birth) and checks the scheduling package to verify the appointment. Updates the clients demographics including mailing and physical address, telephone number, employer information, emergency contact, student status, insurance, and any missing documents into the AccuCare system. Enter and complete daily checks for third party information such as Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, or Veteran Affairs (VA), etc.
Keeps a close relationship with Benefits Coordinators to ensure that the client of White Buffalo has access to all alternate resources. Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location. Manages and monitors logbook and visitor badge, announces visitor as necessary. Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments. Maintain professional standards of conduct, and model recovery type behavior. Adhere to NAADAC Code of Ethics, as well as policies and procedures. Maintain availability to provide coverage at the three (3) WBRC locations. Other duties as assigned are to maintain and enhance the operation of the department and White Buffalo Recovery locations.
