Duties and Responsibilities:Projects a positive imageGreets all guestsCleans up to 15 room credits per shiftRe-stocks guestroom amenitiesRe-stocks supplies in housekeeping cartsSegregates dirty or damaged linen and terry itemsRecovers lost-and-found itemsDisseminates information to guests regarding the property, hotel, promotions, etc.Performs turndown service (2nd shift)Performs routine maintenance on vacuum cleanerKeeps storage areas and carts clean and orderlyWorks safe by observing safety rules and wears proper equipmentOther duties & responsibilities as assigned Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employmentMust be nineteen (19) years of age or olderGood verbal communication skills required (skills test will be administered)- requiredSix (6) month’s experience as a room attendant in a hotel/resort- preferredMust be able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) lbsAbility to work in areas containing dust or on high floor; occasionally kneels, climbs, and crawls to work in difficult positionsMust successfully pass job interview, including a guest service auditionMust be able to stand and walk for entire shiftMust be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environmentMust be able to operate standard office equipment – phones, computers, etc.Must be in good physical condition and able to pass a physical fitness test if administeredWilling and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidaysWilling to travel and participate in training as recommended or requiredMust have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position Base Pay:Pay range - $15.00 - $20.63 (The base pay will depend factors such as experience level and skillset.)Voluntary full-time benefit offerings include the following - group medical, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as access to a flexible spending account (FSA) option.
