Quotation Specialist / Cost Estimator

Essential Functions:

•  Receive and review Request for Quote received from Sales Rep
• Produce an accurate and timely Quote
• Work with Internal and External sources to obtain missing information 
• Meet deadlines and stay focused on multiple jobs in a fast paced work environment
• Have the ability to clearly communicate with co-workers and sales representatives to resolve issues
• Ensure any changes are documented and proper signatures are obtained 
• Ensure all job information is received and entered into the system accurately 
• Other duties as directed by the Management

• Math aptitude

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Time –management skills
• Computer literate in a windows based environment (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, need to work on and track multiple jobs in a fast paced work environment
• Be able to effectively work with both internal and external contacts
• Able to work independently as well as being a team player
• Positive attitude

Knowledge / Skills; 

• Ability to read architectural drawings, blue prints or take-offs a plus
• Construction experience a plus
• Inside sales experience a plus

Education: 

• Associate’s degree preferred or related work experience

• This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
 

• This is a full-time position,
• Non-Exempt with no supervisory responsibility
• Hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8 hours per day
• Overtime as needed
