Winchester School in Winchester, NH is a caring and compassionate K-8 school designing and delivering innovative instructional experiences for all of its 320 students. We seek only professional service providers who desire to be a part of our narrative-changing work in student learning, instructional practice, and family engagement, and who want to help shift the public educational landscape in the southwest region of New Hampshire. The Winchester School board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) is a consultative student behavior professional who believes that no matter where students begin their learning journey, all can accomplish significant growth and development within a welcoming and functional school learning environment. The BCBA is compassionate and empathetic toward the life needs of our students, all while serving the functional social and behavioral needs of the school campus in relation to students and staff achieving their goals.
The BCBA understands a whatever it takes approach to ensuring that the school community grows and learns together through its application of evidence-based behavior standards.JOB GOAL: The overall job goal is to help students succeed academically and socially in the school environment by consulting in a team dynamic with students, school staff, and families.QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum qualifications include a masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field; current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA); experience working with individuals with behavior growth needs rooted in autism or developmental disabilities; strong data analysis and behavior intervention skills; and, excellent communication and leadership abilities.The position requires the belief that ones work directly impacts the success of the Winchester School community as it works toward improving student learning each day. REPORTS TO: Dean of Students and/or Principal Employment Type: Part-Time (0.4 FTE or 15 hours per week)Compensation & Benefits: $90/hour for 15 hours per week (600 hours annually)
