Quality Supervisor Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise daily quality control activities within the Centerfire Quality department.
- Ensure all products comply with customer requirements and internal quality standards.
- Review and approve inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues.
- Lead investigations into non-conformance, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions.
- Train and mentor quality inspectors and department personnel on quality standards and procedures; Administer employee recognition and corrective disciplinary actions; communicate and enforce job expectations.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits (customer, regulatory, or third-party); Maintain records in compliance with company policies and applicable standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree* preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality verification supervisory role; military, manufacturing, or other regulated environments strongly preferred.
- Experience with quality systems such as ISO:9001.
- Proficient in inspection methods, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
- Experience in SAP and KRONOS preferred.
- Ability and willingness to work any shift, including overtime, to support 24/5 operations.
- This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
- This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
