Accountability
The Lead Barista reports directly to the Retail Store Manager and is accountable for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining product quality, and upholding excellent customer service standards.
Retail Responsibilities and Duties
- Assists in training and onboarding new baristas.
- Supervises and participates in drink preparation, ensuring adherence to health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through excellent service and engagement.
- Handles customer complaints in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
- Assists with inventory management and ordering, including:
- Prairie Farms & EOS orders
- Conducts routine quality checks on coffee, chocolate, and tea products to ensure high standards.
- Serves as the primary expert on chocolate services, addressing customer inquiries and supporting community engagement initiatives.
- Available to help cover shifts in case of call-offs.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
