WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Lead Diesel Mechanic will under limited supervision, will repair and maintain our fleet of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and equipment
- Reads and interprets Vehicle Condition Reports and repair orders
- Communicates with supervisor and equipment operators for clarification of maintenance needs
- Completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times
- Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards
- Trains and develops junior technicians
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
Experience, Education, Certification:
- Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 6 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
- Valid driver license.
Physical Requirements:
- Handle tools, equipment, fine motor skills
- Reach with hands and arms
- Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet
- Occasionally must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
