We are seeking an experienced Lawn Mowing Crew Leader to join our growing team.
A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record are required for this position. This typically means no recent DUIs and a clean motor vehicle record with minimal points or violations.
Pay for this position depends upon relevant experience, ability to tow a trailer, production and efficiency, etc.
What you’d be doing:
- Assisting with unloading of work trucks and delivery vehicles.
- Assisting in keeping the job site tidy, organized, and safe.
- Operating lawn maintenance equipment in an effective, productive, and safe manner.
- Working with other crew members effectively and reasonably as expected.
- Assist with snow removal in the winter.
- Meeting all criteria required to operate a vehicle such as meeting the driving record standards.
- Processing proper paperwork such as logs, purchase receipts, work orders, etc.
- Discussing and familiarizing yourself with clients, and ensuring their needs are met.
- Presenting and maintaining a professional image for the company.
- Using tools appropriately and for the job they are made for.
- Complying with the company safety policy at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the table:
- 1-3 years of experience in operating commercial lawn mowers
- Hardworking attitude with a strong attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work 8 hours/day
- Ability to work outside in the elements
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory motor vehicle record
