Our technicians play an essential role in our day-to-day operations, contributing in many ways, including:
Leadership & Supervision:
- Train and mentor veterinary technicians and assistants
- Oversee daily workflows and ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively
- Address team concerns and resolve conflicts professionally
- Communicate clearly with team members and other staff
Patient Care & Technical Skills:
- Perform all standard veterinary technician duties, such as:
- Taking vital signs and collecting samples
- Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments
- Providing nursing care for sick or injured patients
- Assisting with surgeries and various procedures
- Performing laboratory tests and diagnostics
- Preparing patients for procedures and monitoring anesthesia
- Performing patient intubation
