Wilspec Technologies, Inc., headquartered in Oklahoma City, designs and manufactures Pressure Controls, Pressure Sensors, Electrical Controls and Valve and Line Components for HVAC/R, Automotive, Rail and other general industrial markets throughout the world.

Job Description:
- Our operations depend on our global engineering team, and we’re looking for a talented, driven individual to become our new Engineering Manager that will supervise the OKC team.
- The Engineering Manager will interact daily with the global internal sales, operations, design, quality, supply chain, manufacturing and lab teams.
- Understand customer applications, interpret customer provided drawings and generate customer and internal parts specifications, as well as be able to understand and assess engineering issues presented by customers and suppliers.
- The Engineering Manger should also have the ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines, be self-motivated with excellent people skills and be flexible and work on multiple projects at once.
- This candidate should have outstanding communications and presentation capabilities when dealing “one on one”, especially when interacting with Engineering groups in overseas locations.
- The Engineering Manager should also be able to present relevant material to operations, sales and management teams.
- This candidate should have demonstrated leadership skills in a highly competitive and fluid business environment.
- Because of the global nature of our company, candidates who enjoy a multi-cultural work environment do very well.
- Driven to successfully supervise design, quality, lab and production teams everyday.
- Love using statistical and analytical tools.
- Have great communication skills and can handle customer quality management and corrective action reporting.
- Are flexible and open to new experiences (including travel).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) or M.S. from a four-year university in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 5-10 years’ engineering supervisor and/or management experience.
- Ability and willingness to occasionally travel to overseas locations.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM.
- Organization of data and reporting in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Leadership skills, positive attitude, willingness to think outside of the box to solve challenges.
- HVAC/R industry experience.
- Language skills are always helpful due to the global nature of our business. Mandarin, German and Spanish are also a plus.
