Overview
Concessions Worker is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to fans, ensuring food items are delivered in a friendly and timely manner from a variety of perspectives. This dynamic role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, from food preparation to delivery, as well as concession stand operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing accurate information about menu items and assisting guests with questions
- Prepare and assemble food, snacks, and condiments according to production reports and quality standards
- Transport pre-ordered and event-day food items to suites, concession stands, lounges, and picnic areas as needed
- Assist with food preparation for all locations, including organizing refrigerated items, chopping ingredients, and maintaining sanitized workstations
- Accurately process food and beverage orders at concession stands using cashless payment systems, ensuring all transactions follow established procedures
- Comply with all state and local regulations regarding food handling, alcohol service, and safety protocols
- Maintain adequate stock levels at assigned stands or kiosks throughout events
- Conduct inventory checks and prepare products in accordance with management directives and health guidelines
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must exhibit strong customer service skills and maintain a neat appearance
- Proven excellent communication skills
- Must have ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
Education and/or Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Hours
Hours vary according to the game and event schedule, which will include weekends and some holidays.
