Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Your role will be crucial in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to compassionate care and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Support individuals with dementia or autism by implementing tailored care strategies.
- Lift and transfer clients safely when necessary, following proper techniques.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients in group home settings.

Skills
- Experience in dementia care and working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on compassion and empathy.
- Ability to lift clients safely and assist with mobility needs.
- Knowledge of direct support services and long-term care practices.
- Proficient in cooking nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings.
