- Provide attentive care to children, infants, and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and engagement throughout the day
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and dressing for infants and young children
- Support individuals with disabilities by helping with mobility, personal hygiene, and daily activities in a respectful and encouraging manner
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, learning, and social skills
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in accordance with safety standards and care protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding daily progress, milestones, or concerns
- Apply first aid when necessary and follow all health and safety guidelines diligently
Skills
- Proven experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying or early childhood education with classroom or daycare experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and working with individuals with disabilities
- Excellent teaching skills to foster learning through play and structured activities
- Compassionate caregiver with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs while maintaining professionalism and safety standards
