Job Description:

Wilson Auto Family, is looking for a well-qualified, hard-working Service Advisor. The Service Advisor plays a crucial role in the automotive dealership by serving as the liaison between customers and the service department. This position requires excellent customer service skills, automotive knowledge, and organizational abilities. The Service Advisor is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by addressing their vehicle service needs, providing accurate information, coordinating service appointments, service explanation of performed service, and final payment. We are looking for the right candidate and are open to varying backgrounds and qualifications, ranging from a little experience to extremely qualified. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

· Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.

· Listen to customer concerns and inquiries regarding vehicle issues.

· Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs.

· Communicate effectively to manage customer expectations and address questions.

· Cashier customer's tickets.

Service Consultation:

· Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and assessments.

· Consult with technicians to determine necessary repairs and maintenance.

· Provide accurate cost estimates and timeframes for service completion.

· Explain warranty coverage and service options to customers.

Appointment Scheduling:

· Schedule service appointments and maintain an organized service schedule.

· Coordinate with the service manager and service team to ensure timely completion of repairs.

· Keep customers informed of any changes to the estimated completion time.

Service Documentation:

· Create and maintain detailed service records for each customer.

· Input accurate and complete information into the dealership's DMS systems.

· Follow the dealership’s processes efficiently and accurately.

Upselling and Revenue Generation:

· Identify upsell opportunities for additional services and products.

· Promote service specials, maintenance packages, and other dealership offerings.

· Collaborate with the sales team to promote customer loyalty and retention.

Conflict Resolution:

· Address and resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly.

· Work with the service manager to resolve complex issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

· Maintain a positive and professional attitude in challenging situations.

Work Culture:

· Must possess a customer-focused mindset, great attitude, technical aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

· Collaborate with service technicians, parts department, and other dealership staff.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Knowledgeable of automotive service and parts

· Automotive Industry experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

· Base Commission Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
